TEACHERS!!! Would you like to experience ten amazing colonial history sites in the Lowcountry & gain innovative teaching skills for your classroom, all while earning 3 graduate credit hours or 60 renewal credits? 

If so, the Colonial Charleston Teacher Institute was created just for you!

Join us this coming June for a graduate level course through The College of Charleston that includes site visits to a variety of Lowcountry historical sites and Zoom classes and presentations. Gain a solid understanding of our state’s colonial history and discover how you can bring the 18th century to life for your students in all curricular areas!

Total course fee is $550. Ten scholarships of $400 each will be awarded to qualified applicants.  Additional scholarships with the addition of lodging at a beach house will be granted to teachers living in more distant areas of the state.  All Scholarship recipients will only be required to pay $150 for the course. 

***Act quickly as scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis to qualified applicants.
